Thomas is steadily establishing himself as a versatile and compelling baritone across the UK and Europe. He has been praised for his “powerful but richly toned voice” (Cambrian News) and for a “robust, immersive sound” (Badische Neueste Nachrichten), qualities that underpin his growing reputation on both the concert platform and the operatic stage.

His symphonic and sacred repertoire also includes Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 and Bach’s St John Passion with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.

On the operatic stage, Thomas has appeared in roles such as Pagnotta (La Frascatana) and Villotto (La vera Costanza) with New Chamber Opera, Dr Falke (Die Fledermaus) at Schlossfestspiele Ettlingen, Don Giovanni (Don Giovanni) with Berlin Opera Academy, and Guglielmo (Così fan tutte) with Love Opera. He has also sung Alfio (Cavalleria rusticana)with North Wales Opera and appeared in Opera in the Garden with Rogue Opera.

In 2024, Thomas joined the Chorus of the Royal Opera, where he has covered roles including the Second Prisoner (Fidelio), the Mandarin (Turandot), Le Sire de Béthune (Les vêpres siciliennes), Nikitich (Boris Godunov) and Second Philistine (Samson et Dalila).
